I am very excited to be at Kalon Prep and to be apart of this awesome team. I am looking forward to building relationships with students and developing a connection that helps bring out the best in every student. I value my students above all and treat them with the respect they deserve and in turn hope they can respect me as their teacher/role model.
I graduated from Osakis High School in 2013, Alexandria Technical College in 2015 and got my degree in Law Enforcement, then changed professions and got my Elementary Teaching Degree at Saint Cloud State University in 2018. I have taught a wide range of positions from 3rd grade, 5th grade, Math Title Teaching, and then lastly High School Special Education. I believe this has helped me become a well rounded teacher within the school system and have learned many new teaching methods.
Fun facts about me: My wife and I got married during Covid and let me tell you, that was stressful. My wife Kathryn and I have 2 beautiful girls Brynlee who is 3 and Wren who is 1. I am a child at heart and love playing board games, video games, escape rooms, and any sports you can think of. I enjoy camping, hiking, kayaking, fishing, and hunting.
